Hand painted and mosaic wood bird house. Value $100.00.

Hand painted by artist Heather Johnsgaard, this birdhouse measures approximately 12 X 6 inches at its highest and widest points. Base is 3 x 4.5 inches. Opening is sized at 1.25. this bird house does not have a clean out door.

Painted with acrylic paints, the birdhouse has also been sealed with 3 coats of exterior varnish. Painted decoration features a stone brick wall, fairy door, and lovely flowers. The roof is covered with mosaic china and blends very well with the paint colours.

Two hooks have been set into both the roof and a side wall for extra strength.

While this is a fully functioning birdhouse, it is recommended as a decorative piece for your home or gazebo to preserve its beauty for years to come. It does not have a clean out door. Most birds will clean out old nests themselves the following years. It includes drain holes and air vents.

Should you wish to place it outside, we recommend a shaded spot, and we also recommend giving it a coat of varnish each year.
